QEVRIXDATA AI INFRASTRUCTURE

COMPANY UPDATE OCTOBER 2026 · ONTARIO, CANADA

Planning a regional
data centre in Ontario.

QEVRIX is developing plans for a hosted pilot in the Greater Toronto Area and a permanent regional facility. The initiative reflects our view that AI’s long-term growth should be supported by thoughtful use of energy, water and land.

THE PROJECT

Where the project stands

We have chosen a staged approach, beginning with a proposed 500 kW pilot in an existing host facility. This would give us operating experience and a closer understanding of customers’ needs as the regional project develops.

The permanent concept provides for 5 MW of IT capacity in the Simcoe / Barrie-area industrial corridor. It would open in two stages, with pilot customers moving into the regional facility. The project remains at the concept stage, with site and utility arrangements still to be confirmed.

OUR OUTLOOK

The future behind the project

We want QEVRIX’s growth to contribute to a future in which AI can become more useful without losing sight of the resources and communities that sustain it. That outlook is shaping this project from its earliest decisions.

PEOPLE & COMMUNITIES

Social responsibility

The people who build, operate and live alongside a project are part of its future. We want their safety, dignity and perspectives to inform our decisions. As QEVRIX grows, our aim is to listen to communities, treat people fairly and create opportunities for local skills to contribute.
